Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Cybernock (cybernock.com) handles when you visit the site. It was last updated on October 15, 2026. Questions go to hello@cybernock.com.

The short version

  • You can read every page without an account, a sign-up or a form.
  • We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
  • Our web server keeps standard access logs for security and troubleshooting.
  • When you follow a link to a software vendor, that vendor’s own privacy policy applies from then on.

Information collected when you visit

Like most websites, our server records basic technical details for each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. We use these logs only to keep the site secure, to fix errors and to protect it against abuse. Web server logs are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days, and they are not used to build profiles of visitors.

Cookies

Cybernock does not set cookies for visitors who simply read the site. The only cookies our software sets are login cookies for site editors who sign in to manage content. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page first and describe what is collected.

Third-party services

  • Google Fonts: our typefaces load from Google’s font servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it downloads them. See Google’s privacy policy for how it handles that request.
  • Hosting: the site runs on a server hosted by OVHcloud. Our domain’s DNS is provided by Cloudflare.
  • Email: if you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and to keep a record of corrections.

Outbound and affiliate links

Links to software vendors pass through short Cybernock addresses that begin with /go/. These redirect you to the vendor’s site. Some of them are affiliate links, which means the vendor or an affiliate network such as Impact may set its own cookies to record that you came from Cybernock. Those cookies are controlled by the vendor or network, not by us, and their privacy policies apply. Read more in our affiliate disclosure.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the site with cookies turned off. If you emailed us and want your message deleted, write to hello@cybernock.com and we will remove it.

Children

Cybernock is written for adults buying software. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy
