Link-in-bio and funnel tools

A link-in-bio tool is a service that turns the single link in an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube profile into a mobile page of links, often with a shop. Our link-in-bio & funnel tool reviews compare eight link pages, creator storefronts and funnel platforms on seller fees, selling features and real cost at real sales volumes.

What are link-in-bio and funnel tools?

They sit behind your bio link. Some only list links. Others sell.

Creator storefronts such as Stan and Beacons add a checkout for digital products, courses, coaching calls and memberships, while funnel and course platforms such as Systeme.io, Kajabi and ClickFunnels go further, with sales pages, upsells, email automation and a members area in one account. The groups overlap. Many creators start with a free link page, add a storefront when the first product is ready and move to a funnel platform once email drives most sales.

Which link-in-bio or funnel tool fits you?

Start with what happens when someone taps your bio link. If they should see your latest video and sponsors, you need a link page; if they should buy something, you need a checkout, and then the fee on each sale matters more than the plan price.

  • If you only share links: Linktree Free. Upgrade to Pro only for analytics and pixels.
  • If you are selling for the first time with no budget: Beacons Free, accepting its 9% fee while sales are small. Move to Creator Plus ($30 a month, 0% fee) once you pass about $280 a month in sales.
  • If you sell courses or coaching to an Instagram or TikTok audience: Stan Creator at $29 a month, with 0% fees and Instagram AutoDM.
  • If your bio link should feed an email funnel: Systeme.io, where the link page, opt-in, automation and checkout share one account. The free plan covers 2,000 contacts.
  • If you run an established course business: Kajabi, at $143 a month billed yearly since its January 2026 price rise.
  • If you want a branded one-page site: Carrd, at $19 a year with your own domain. Don’t use it as a store; it has no product delivery or email sending.
  • If you buy ads into multi-step offers: ClickFunnels, from $81 a month billed yearly, with order bumps and one-click upsells.

What does selling $2,000 a month really cost?

We modelled 50 sales of a $40 product, paid by US cards through Stripe at 2.9% + 30 cents, which comes to $73 in processing on every tool.

Tool and planPlan per monthPlatform feeMonthly total
Systeme.io Free$0$0$73
Stan Creator (yearly)$25$0$98
Kajabi Basic (yearly)$143$0$216
Beacons Free$0$180 (9%)$253
Linktree Free$0$240 (12%)$313

Free plans with a seller fee get expensive fast. Beacons Free costs more than Beacons Creator Plus past about $280 a month in sales, and Linktree Free costs more than Premium past roughly $300.

When should you not pay for one of these tools?

Skip the paid plans if you only point followers to your latest content. Linktree’s free plan does that well, and Pro mainly adds analytics and pixels. In practice, Systeme.io’s free plan already lets you sell with 0% fees, so there is little reason to pay before your first sale. Don’t bother with Kajabi or ClickFunnels before you have a product that sells; at $143 and $81 a month billed yearly, they only make sense when you use the email, upsells or community tools they add.

What catches creators out?

  1. Seller fees on free plans. Linktree takes 12% on Free and 9% on Starter and Pro; Beacons takes 9% until Creator Plus. When you sell regularly, that fee outgrows any plan price.
  2. Email on a separate tier. Stan needs the $99 Creator Pro plan for broadcasts and automations, and Linktree has no built-in email sending at all.
  3. Price rises without grandfathering. Kajabi raised prices in January 2026 without protecting existing customers, according to Learning Revolution, and Podia’s June 2026 relaunch capped Mover at 100 email subscribers.

Most people miss one more rule. When you earn affiliate or sponsor money, the FTC says a disclosure only on your profile or bio page isn’t enough; put it with the endorsement itself.

How we build our link-in-bio & funnel tool reviews

Our link-in-bio & funnel tool reviews are research scores. We read official pricing and fee pages, help-centre documentation, plan limits and independent reviews, and we don’t present vendor claims as our own findings. Fees decide a lot here. Total cost and seller fees carry 30% of the score, so a polished tool with a high fee ranks lower than a plain one with none. If you’ve already built an audience on email, weigh the email criterion more heavily than we do. Related categories: email marketing and social media tools.

Questions people ask

What is the best free link-in-bio tool?

For selling, Systeme.io: its free plan includes a link-in-bio page, a custom domain, 2,000 contacts, unlimited email sends and 0% transaction fees. For a pure link page, Linktree Free is the simplest. Beacons Free gives unlimited products and a media kit for brand deals, but takes a 9% fee on each sale. Skip the paid tiers until you sell.

Does Linktree take a cut of sales?

Yes, on most plans. Linktree charges a 12% seller fee on its Free plan and 9% on Starter and Pro, and only Premium drops it to 0%. On $2,000 a month in sales, the Free plan's fee comes to $240 before Stripe's processing fee. If you sell regularly, a 0% tool such as Stan or Systeme.io costs less.

Stan Store or Beacons: which is cheaper?

At low sales, Beacons, because its free plan costs nothing and charges 9% per sale. The crossover comes fast. Past about $280 a month in sales, the 0% plans win: Beacons Creator Plus costs $30 a month and Stan Creator $29, both with 0% fees. Stan includes coaching bookings and AutoDM; Beacons adds a media kit on every plan.

Do I need a funnel builder or just a link-in-bio page?

A link page is enough while you share content or sell one product. You need a funnel builder when email sequences, upsells or launches drive your sales. Systeme.io covers both in one account from $0, while ClickFunnels ($81 a month billed yearly) and Kajabi ($143) suit sellers whose upsells or courses already earn back the fee. Don't bother with either before your first launch.

What payment fees apply on top of the platform fee?

Your payment processor's fee applies on every tool. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30 cents per successful US domestic card payment, and Stan lists PayPal at 3.49% plus a fixed fee. On 50 sales of $40, Stripe processing comes to $73 a month, before any platform fee, payout fees or taxes. When you sell abroad, international card surcharges add more.
