About Cybernock
Cybernock is an independent website that compares software for small businesses, freelancers and everyday users. We cover the tools people pay for every month: web hosting and domains, VPNs and password managers, AI assistants, website builders, email marketing, CRM, accounting, payroll and more.
What we cover
The site is organised into 10 groups and 40 software categories. Every product sits in one main category, where it is compared with the other tools that do the same job. Each category page shows the products side by side, with scores, starting prices, free plans and refund terms in one table. You can browse them all on All categories, and our published analyses are listed under Reviews.
How our scores work
Our scores are research scores. Each category has its own published criteria and weights. For VPNs, privacy and trust count for 30%. For web hosting, renewal pricing carries real weight because that is where most of the cost hides. We score every product in a category against the same criteria, using evidence you can check yourself:
- official pricing pages, plan limits and policy documents
- independent security audits, lab results and public benchmarks
- regulator filings, court records and reputable news coverage for company history
We do not run hands-on product tests, and our pages never claim that we did. Where a fact could not be confirmed, we leave it out or say so. The full method is on our editorial policy page.
How we make money
Cybernock is reader-supported. Some links on the site are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide a score or a ranking. Several of our top-rated products pay us nothing at all. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
How we keep pages current
Software prices and plans change often. Every price on Cybernock shows when it was checked, and whether it came from the vendor’s own page or from a dated third-party source. We publish new analyses gradually and revisit existing ones when prices, plans or ownership change.
